
The Gurugram-based auto components firm emphasised that there will be no change in management, and day-to-day operations will continue under the leadership of Managing Director and CEO Vivek Vikram Singh, who has helmed the company since 2019.
In a statement, the board expressed condolences to Kapur’s family and described his legacy as one that would “continue to guide and inspire” the company’s future.
“We have full faith in the management team’s ability to lead the Company under the supervision of the Board,” it added.

Kapur, 53, died of a heart attack while playing polo in the UK. A known figure in the industry, he also served as ACMA president, co-chaired the CII Manufacturing Council, and sat on the board of The Doon School. He is survived by two children.
He was formerly married to actor Karisma Kapoor, with whom he had two children—Samaira and Kiaan.
