
The contract is for a balance-of-system Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) package, covering the development of a 300 MW solar power project (AC 300 MW / DC 420 MWp) and a 220/33 kV pooling substation in Rajasthan.
Chandra Kishore Thakur, Global CEO of SWREL, said the order marks the company’s first win from the private IPP segment this fiscal. “The order is a testament to our strong execution capabilities, and we continue to build on our gross order inflows, which have already exceeded ₹2,400 crore this year,” he said.
Shares of SWREL closed at ₹266.45 on the NSE, up 0.28% before the announcement.

The company recently reported a sharp improvement in its June quarter results, with net profit surging to ₹38.7 crore from ₹4.8 crore a year earlier.
Revenue almost doubled year-on-year to ₹1,761.6 crore, supported by stronger domestic and international EPC execution. Margins also improved, aided by softer input costs and better operational efficiency.
SWREL, a pure-play renewable EPC firm, has a portfolio exceeding 22.8 GWp globally and an O&M portfolio of 9.3 GWp across 28 countries.
