
As per the orders, Surya Roshni will supply 3LPE coated electric resistance welded (ERW) steel pipes to Gujarat Gas for multiple locations.
The nature of the domestic contract has been reported as ‘PIPE, CS, ERW, 3LPE, APISL GR. XS, 6.4 MM, 4″,6″, 8″ & 12″ Pipe, by the steel company in an exchange notification on June 25.
The company is scheduled to execute the order in 34 weeks.
In the quarter ended March 31, 2025, Surya Roshni reported a consolidated revenue of ₹2,146 crore, marking a 3% increase from ₹2,080 crore in the same quarter of the preceding financial year. The company’s ‘Steel Pipes’ segment contributed significantly to the revenue rise in the said quarter, due to its improved profitability, while its lighting and consumer durable segment also delivered consistent earnings growth.
The company’s earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) increased 22% to ₹211 crore from the previous year, while the EBITDA margin expanded by 155 basis points to 9.85% in the quarter. Net profit surged 25% to ₹130 crore in the March quarter from ₹104 crore in the year-ago period.
Surya Roshni’s Lighting and Consumer Durables segment’s order book remained robust at ₹150 crore, signalling strong demand visibility for FY26. Its Steel Pipe and Strips segment witnessed an order book of about ₹650 crore, in hand for the Oil & Gas sector, the Water Sector and Exports business.
Surya Roshni’s shares gained 7.4% to ₹359 apiece on Wednesday, June 25. The stock was trading 3.72% up at ₹346.75 apiece at 10.45 am. It has gained 20% this year, so far.
