Nagpur: Vice-chancellor Manali Kshirsagar on Tuesday dismissed confusion over Nagpur University’s examination schedule, asserting that there is “absolute clarity” on the conduct of supplementary and summer exams, and that timetables are being released in a phased, result-linked manner.
She said supplementary practical examinations will begin from April 15, while summer theory exams are scheduled from May 2, per revised academic calendar. “There is no confusion. The process is clear – supplementary exams start April 15 and summer theory begins from May 2. Timetables have been prepared and are being released logically alongside results,” she said.
Kshirsagar stressed publishing a timetable is directly dependent on declaration of results. “Students will get a preparation time of 15 to 20 days after their results,” she said.
She also clarified that students whose results are already declared were allowed to fill exam forms from March 23, while those awaiting results will be given a week to apply once the results are announced. “We cannot declare incomplete results. Accuracy is very critical and crucial, especially when handling thousands of entries from hard-copy records,” she said.
