
His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, has approved the recruitment of 330 Emirati citizens across municipalities in the emirate, in a move aimed at strengthening national workforce participation and improving public services. The initiative covers both university graduates and high school diploma holders and is positioned as part of a broader effort to support Emirati graduates, enhance national competencies, and raise the efficiency of municipal operations across multiple cities. A significant portion of the recruitment focuses on Sharjah City Municipality, where 120 positions have been allocated specifically for Emiratis holding high school certificates to support the field inspection sector. The remaining 210 roles are distributed across municipalities in the emirate, ensuring wider geographic coverage and operational support. Sharjah Municipality will receive 94 of these positions, followed by 27 roles in Khorfakkan and 30 in Kalba. Additional allocations include 10 jobs in Dibba Al Hisn, 20 in Al Dhaid, 6 in Al Madam, 9 in Mleiha, 9 in Al Bataeh, and 5 in Al Hamriyah. The recruitment drive is intended to reinforce municipal capacity while providing employment opportunities for Emiratis, aligning with ongoing efforts to strengthen local governance and improve the quality of services delivered to residents across the emirate.
