
Her resignation, submitted via a letter dated June 26, 2025, was formally taken on record by the board at its meeting held on June 27. With this, she also steps down from her roles in the relevant board committees.
In her place, the board has approved the appointment of D. Shivakumar, also a nominee of Verventa Holdings, as an additional director (non-executive, liable to retire by rotation), effective from the same date. His appointment is subject to shareholder approval.

Shivakumar brings decades of experience in leadership roles across global and Indian corporates. He is currently an operating partner at Advent International. Previously, he served as group executive president – corporate strategy at Aditya Birla Group and as chairperson and CEO at PepsiCo India.
His past roles also include CEO for emerging markets at Nokia and senior positions at Hindustan Unilever and Philips India. An alumnus of IIT Madras, IIM Calcutta, and the Wharton School, Shivakumar is recognised for his strategic leadership across sectors.
Shares of YES Bank Ltd ended at ₹20.35, up by ₹0.16, or 0.79%, on the BSE.
