
Kochi: Expanding its academic offerings with a mix of traditional disciplines and industry-oriented courses, Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit (SSUS) has begun admission process for its postgraduate and PG diploma programmes for 2026-27 academic year, with entrance tests scheduled to commence in May.
Programmes include MA, MSc, MSW, MFA, MPES and multidisciplinary dual main master’s courses in disaster management, along with specialised PG diplomas.
According to university officials, admissions to most programmes will be based on entrance examinations and interviews, with separate tests for each course. Candidates who have completed a bachelor’s degree or are awaiting final results are eligible to apply, subject to submission of qualifying certificates within the stipulated time. University also offers programmes in diverse disciplines such as languages, social sciences, fine arts, physical education, psychology and geography.
Among the highlights is MSW programme, offered at select campuses with an annual tuition fee of Rs 7,500, making it one of the most affordable options in the country. A comprehensive admission test will be conducted for MSW, with additional weightage for candidates with a social work background.
University has also introduced industry-oriented courses such as PG diploma in wellness and spa management, aimed at enhancing employability in wellness and tourism sectors.
Last date for submitting applications is April 16. Entrance tests are scheduled to begin in May.
