Sachin Pilgaonkar reveals his mother participated with Asha Bhosle in song recordings
Sachin Pilgaonkar, who has been a part of cinema for more than five decades, has a special memory to share about her. In an exclusive conversation with ETimes, Sachin shared, “Remembering Ashatai, she was hugely talented, blessed, yet so down to earth. As a child, I first met her at a recording when I was with my mother. Ashatai met her very fondly, and later I came to know that my mother used to participate with her in song recordings.““Later, I had the privilege of her singing for my films. I never knew I would get the opportunity to sing with her at her concerts in India and abroad. She always treated me as her son, and I called her my second mother. We shared so many moments together. I can only visualise her as a lively personality and that’s the reason she will never die for me,” Sachin relayed.“Remember, her life should only be celebrated. Love you, Ashatai,”concluded SachinSee More: Zanai Bhosle shares an emotional post for the late grandmother Asha Bhosle: ‘She’s going to come back to me’
